That’s one of most worrying status many people have been crossing on their lives due to many factors that prevent them to have a high lifestyle due to the life’s complexity that affects the population of the world in an overwhelming way.
According to the principle Mens sana in corpore sano, we may say that the obesity and anxiety are both the result of a wrong way of living given by the unbalance in their daily lives people have been submitted caused by impotence’s feelings to solve the growing of common problems of money issues, environmental troubles, political disturbances, accidents, wars, intolerance in many degrees, illnesses in crescent number, corruption, drugs, and violence worldwide.

These are the greater hardships of the real world affecting the physical body’s health through a high amount of maladies. The human beings absorb the outcomes brought forth by the uncertainties of life and can’t keep healthy life habits causing many times devastating mental effects of hard healing.
There is an imperious need to generate some kind of protection mechanisms by which such imbalance may be set aside.

It is possible to take action against this situation through a high mindset and positive thought by means a dynamic process creating a protective shield to manage what is going on. That is the best attitude may be taken to alleviate the consequences of such suffering, that in the most of the cases can’t be repaired only through medicines. That’s the big problem involving obesity and anxiety by which many people sometimes don’t know how to handle by themselves.

It’s very common when after a stressing work day people eat candies, cakes and ice creams due to a compulsive anxiety provoked by the excitement of the day. When it happens many times during a determined period of time, a bad habit may be emerging through an unaware way.

When people eat compulsively they prefer food with high content of sugar and fat getting a well-being sensation, due to the releasing of serotonin, a neurotransmitter substance of the brain and central nervous system. The picture worsens with the weight gain and inability to reverse the effect, generating the disease through continued habit.
Checking the weightOn account of this, the frustration appears and further increases the anxiety leading people to eat again. This is a sufficient condition for the increase in blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and other signs that the health begins to collapse.

At the beginning of the process, it’s possible that people realize what is going on and get healing on their own, but this is very difficult. In any case, this is the first step to healing, but almost always it requires external help because people get confused due to disastrous emotions and actions, requiring follow-up and correct medication prescribed by a nutritionist.

  1. Its seems there is a connection there between the two disorders, as many people are eating to cope instead of perhaps, or at the same time being medicated. The right levels of medication can of course help, but the wrong ones or the wrong dosages can be somewhat disasterous if you have the wrong Dr. Everyone be very careful with this issue.

It’s an issue that happens increasingly, despite the high quantity of medicines launched in the market systematically, many of them quite dangerous and banned in some countries.   2. Thank you for a very informative article on obesity and anxiety, why is it we crave the most fattening and unhealthiest food when we are anxious and high stressed?

    I notice when under extreme stress my appetite is much larger, but I often don’t feel full and satisfied any ideas on why i feel this way?

      In fact, that’s a problem in which the solution is hard but not impossible. At first, as in the article, food addiction is a mental illness in which people feel the need to eat even when they are not hungry, ingesting high quantities of food in short time, due to the loss of control to which they get submitted. It’s similar to a drug addiction case. The healing process for this disturbance resides in taking care of emotions, putting into action the will power each of us has within. It needs to be done through a great dose of determination, and I cannot say it is easy. Start changing the kind of food with little steps, eat more salads and juices, read a book, go for a drive, do something for avoiding food remembrances. Stay all the time with your mind full of ideas, thinking all the time about how you may do things get better. No one but you does it for yourself. It’s a personal decision. Be stronger from now on! Step by step you will feel things easier. Put into action a strong discipline invigorating your thoughts with wholesome ideas, think positively and believe that you are capable of becoming your life healthier.

    Obesity and anxiety are one of the main problems in our lives which is very worrying, we have all became lazy.
    You are right about it unbalancing us in the way we eat complete rubbish, but we do it:(
    What actually makes us fail and give in to junk food?
    When i am stressed i am the complete opposite i do not eat, (is that strange)?

      At first, many thanks for your comments. Indeed, anxiety disorders are the most prevalent mental illnesses in developed countries. On the other hand, obesity is recognized to be one of the greatest public health problems worldwide. Both disturbances show a positive relationship with panic disorder, mainly in women with social phobias, creating situations in which people usually don’t know how to handle by themselves. The most secure way to get the wholesome health consists in avoiding food with high content of sugar and fat during stressing symptoms and I congratulate you for this healthy habit. However, it is highly critical for people control these moments. Feel free to keep in touch at any moment you want. I should say that it will always be a great pleasure to me.
